This is what we've been up to:

We've had a BIG couple of weeks! It started when Dave took the youth on a mission trip for a week in Chicago. The girls and I headed to my parents' for a few days to see my grandparents (who were visiting from PA). See Highlight pictures above: going to the circus and the zoo and picking strawberries with Grandpa. My favorite cousin moment was when Natalie put both hands on Anna's shoulders to get her attention and told her something very serious and important. As soon as she ran off, Anna looked at me and said, "Natalie talks funny!" (It was a bit of mumbo-jumbo since she's just 2.) Then she looked down the ramp and Natalie running and acting goofy and said, "And Natalie is crazy."
We were all together again for a week before Dave and I headed to camp with the youth and the girls had their very first Grandparents' camp- 4 hours away from us. It was a tough week for me, but it was the best week we've had at Lakeside since we started going 4 years ago, so I guess it was worth it. :) The theme for the girls was "Blue" and they did all sorts of blue things with Grandma and Grandpa. Anna went fishing on a boat with Grandpa and they all swam in a local lake and did all sorts of art projects involving the color blue. Anna and Grandpa checked out the local museum and saw a whale skelton hanging from the ceiling. Jordyn also got a virus and had a fever for 2 days and Anna and their cousin got the virus and strep, too. Thankfully, Anna started getting sick the day we went to G&G's to get them, so I was there for that part. Now I'm sick. :(
After dropping off the students, we drove up to get our girls and spend the week with family so Dave could help his mom after her complete knee replacement. Since Anna was sick, we mostly stayed at G&G's and my plans for that week went down the tubes. Dave had to stay with his mom most of the time (including nights) so we still didn't get to see much of Daddy. We kinda felt like we were dating again. He stayed at his mom's, I stayed at my parents' and we just got to see each other for a few hours a day.
That made 3 out of 4 weeks that our family was broken up somehow and Dave and I were sleeping in different houses altogether. We're so glad that craziness is over and we are back in our own home--- all together!
